Tyler Road Harness Shop has proudly served the Bremen, Indiana community and surrounding Marshall, Elkhart, Kosciusko, and St. Joseph counties as a trusted source for animal feed, leather goods, and repair services. Built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship and dependable service, the shop continues a long-standing tradition of meeting the needs of farmers, horse owners, and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the region.

Current owner Mark Borkholder purchased Tyler Road Harness Shop from a well-established and respected previous owner with one clear goal in mind: to keep this essential business thriving in the community it serves. Having previously worked for a harness maker, Mark developed a lifelong appreciation for leatherworking and hands-on craftsmanship. That passion quickly turned into a commitment, and for more than 17 years, he has poured his knowledge, experience, and care into growing the shop while preserving its reputation for quality and trust.

Today, Tyler Road Harness Shop is known for its custom leather craftsmanship, offering expertly made and repaired harnesses, saddles, holsters, knife sheaths, purses, boots, and other specialty leather goods. Alongside leatherwork, the shop carries a wide range of horse feed, animal bedding, vaccines, and essential livestock supplies—making it a true one-stop shop for animal care and working leather needs.

Mark takes pride in being as knowledgeable as possible about every product he sells and every piece he creates. I not knowing Tyler custom leather harness,Put a order in for a 1"wide by 8 foot long dog lead. Tyler told me he used stainless steel hardware i.e snaps,rivets and a ring. I gave him my dimensions and having free will on it,when I came to pick it up it looked like it had to many pieces on it,then he showed me curling it in a loop it was a self contained dog collar. Very ingenious. I felt like I have the only lead like it.
